XTension Discussion
Couple of questions
I have temperature readings that come in every few minutes. From time to time I get one that is way out of range (I think one of the sensors is failing and mucking up the data stream). I want to discard those out of range values and was wondering if that was what the "future value" verbs where for? Anyone have a sample of this type of process?
Along similar lines I do a average of temps by floor. Sometimes one of them will be artificially skewed (bathroom when someone is taking a shower for instance). Any thoughts on how to do a weighted averaging. I was thinking I would compare each temp to the average and if it was greater than a certain amount replace it's value with the average and redo the average.
Thanks
Bill
