Thanks, James. It has been triggering it's own "ON" script hourly for 3+ days (new unit just set up). If I click the "OFF" script to reset to "zero", it  retriggers itself to "ON" in the next hour (battery check). If I do nothing, then the unit is continuously "ON".

Now since I sent this inquiry last night, it activated itself, later, one more time in my 8 pm hour check-in then nothing has happened since and I have done nothing to the "system". Funny how things straighten out when you threaten "serious action". (c;

 I will monitor, re-create the unit if necessary and let you know the outcome either way. Now that I know how the unit works, it may be possible the it is defective in some way and will try a new unit replacement in the mix if need be.
