Is this going to work?

I'm going to be migrating from:
- G3 iMac with a LabJack I/O
to
- Intel Mac Mini with a Barionette I/O

I can't do it all at once so I was thinking

1. clone the xTension system from the G3 iMac to the Mac Mini
2. disable all non I/O related units, scripts and functions on the G3
3. disable all I/O related units, scripts and functions on the Mac Mini
4. Run both systems, I've got two interfaces
5. Gradually migrate the I/O functions over to the Mac Mini as I get
things hooked up and working.

Any advice is gratefully accepted!
