I'm looking for a true wireless, (not carrier current), intercom which is powered from 117vac, has a range of 1/2+ mile and can be used in monitoring mode, such as monitoring a baby. I don't know if there are any frequency allocations which allow full time, 1 way, monitoring.

I'm thinking this group may well contain someone with some expertise in this area.
