Thanks. But feel GOOD for me now.

I missed Chuck's earlier comment. But seeing you quote it reminded me
that I had taken a lamp module from my collection of unused control
modules in the basement workshop and applied it to a set of speakers
under the bed in the master bedroom the day before this all began.
[Note: A collection of gentle wake-up music to be played at specific
times for specific durations.]

So I took that module out of the system and I have regained control
of the household via the Master List controls in XTension.

A lesson learned for myself AND for others who encounter this sort of
difficulty.

Not too keen on the RF idea. To much opportunity for someone spoofing
the system. But....

[1] We definitely need better diagnostics in the system.
[2] We need better security in the system as well. An
'authentication' scheme, possibly similar to what the US Army uses in
their RF communications systems.

And THANKS again! Now to label this unit as 'questionable' and set it
aside for testing at a later date.
