I can 'issue' commands, as they log going out. I cannot issue any
commands that actually work. Although the system says these commands
ARE being acknowledged.
An additional bit of information, the PIR sensors strewn around the
property ARE reporting activity, as they should. Didn't notice that
until we began getting about; e.g., opening doors to get the paper.

No new devices, of an electric or electronic form, have been added to
the household in at least a month. The latest was a new DSL modem, as
the other had gone south on me over a month ago. The new one is an
ActionTec.
[OT Note: Interestingly enough, my paranoia has been twigged. I
prefer to have my primary server act as the DNS manager. And I
initially configured the modem to not offer that service. However,
looking at it later, IT had assumed the duties and ALL of my
computers had been reconfigured to recognize IT as opposed to my
server. Anyone else check their DNS management lately and found
things were not as they were originally configured?]
