Well I just got my iMac G5 back from the repair shop and it was just
a blown power supply.
$180 bucks or so later and I still have my data. I swapped
transformers to one of my mirror drives and
resurrected that one. So far I have only lost my WD mirror at work
and one mirror at home.
The work drive has already been swapped out and this home drive will
be next.
I realized that I have all our photos backed up on two iPods also.

I am going to burn some DVD's and put them in my safe deposit box.
That way if my house burns down
(I survived tow separate house fires as a kid. One in 1st grade and
one in 6th grade, two different houses.)
I won't lose everything.

Call me paranoid.
