toolbar buttons with dropdown menu
Hi folks,
just updating some of the tool bar stuff from old apps to the new RB
tool thing and have a question. The dropdown menu buttons seem to only
have an event when you select something from a menu. I imagined that
they would work like a contextual menu where you get an event when you
click so that you can build the menu based on the state and data at
the time and not just whenever you happened to build them say, when
opening the window.
Am I missing something, or is there no way to know when you've clicked
on the drop down menu button and I have to build the menu's ahead of
time? And if so then is there a good work around to the problem?
you're not supposed to make your own contextual menus anymore are you?
Thanks,
James
