residual energy use by x10 units
I am mostly a lurker on this list, but I have quite a few X10 switches and run Xtension on an old OS9 laptop. Lately I have been trying to reduce the residual energy use of devices in standby mode and that got me wondering how much current an X10 switch uses when on standby. Also Inteon units? I realize that X10 saves energy by turning off lights that I inadvertently leave on, but what about the standby energy use of the X10 switch itself?
