Yes, it is powered. Is it a bad thing ? I have changed and connected
the Keyspan directly to a USB port without going through a hub. Doing great right now, but let's wait.

That got me thinking and reviewing everything around the house, and a suspect appeared: the "Velux" (it is a window in the roof, I don't
know the US name) blind is controlled by a 432MHz remote command, and disconnecting it gave me a 24 hour quiet period. But on sunday I had
three more "timer error after protocol break" storms so the suspect is now innocent...

Indeed. My wife is worried to see me walking around the house with
holy water and an oscilloscope with an antenna. I was planning to
extend my search this week-end, but she refuses categorically that I
go around the houses in the neighborhood like this... :-)
