Affirmative! This morning I disconnected one sensor from an AC
adapter and immediately connected it to a 9V battery. It DID NOT
require an address reset!

Seeing the same thing here. As a point of reference, I'm using
rechargeable batteries in all my wireless units. Somewhat of a pain
because battery changes are more frequent, but I've stopped buying
batteries for the most part. I've invested in a more sophisticated
battery charger to try to squeeze more life out of the batteries;
however, said charger can't do 9V or D cell...bummer...have to use a
more primitive charger that lacks a timer or monitor, so it is
controlled by...you guessed it...XTension via script and Appliance
Module...

So tell me if I'm seeing this clearly: I've changed the addresses
and names of the first three Units that the plugin created as per my
previous post.
Kosher?
I'm about to change the second set of three Units that the plugin
created to different names so that I can monitor the temp in my
basement.
Kosher?
Would you like fries with that? <grin>
I'm not 100% sure I'm doing this right, because if I look at the
second set of Units that the plugin created, they're not identical to
the first set of three. More specifically, the Unit "Test Humid 2"
has an "ON" script that lacks some steps when compared to Unit "Test
Humid".
Is that what you intended? Can you explain in greater detail?
My mission, in regards to these sensors, is to monitor my attic and
basement temps/humidity. Past that point, providing I am successful,
I'll distribute more sensors around the house similar to what Chuck
and Chester et al have done.
Safe to assume that I'm on the right track?
Thanks again for everything, michael!
