Auschwitz was "hosting" many different 'damned' ones, not simply jews but also any kind of freaks, disabled, roms, ziganes, and muslim too... It is crazy to consider that we might refer to some precise identity saying "the Muslim"... "the Jew"... "the Catholic"... "the Laic"... the "Us"... and "Them"
Like any other world, Isalm world is such a plural and variegated one and if you ignore it then you're not simply victim of ideologies you're a dimwit.
If you want to see how much this plurality is held in consideration by western continental philosophy then you should go back to Giordano Bruno, Wilhelm Goethe, Baruch Spinoza... Hannah Arendt. If you want to know it directly by islamic people then go to cinema and watch "les chats persians".
