Dear Mike,
No one said all Indians are drunkards, nor did anyone demean Indian culture, character, family life or intelligence.
By your own admission alcoholism is a problem on the rez, as it is elsewhere. Denial doesn't solve problems.
I am well aware of the tragic history of Native Americans and was simply making the point that their terrible treatment has given them obstacles to overcome.
