Chunks of my message mysteriously were hacked away (or missed entirely by my keyboard) so I will try to re-vamp/add them… no doubt the unleashed acts of invasive/internal gremlins and external nightmares that weigh upon my eyelids….
===================

Fulbright Grants are given to international students so that they can be brought into the bourgeois fold through pre-packaged yet somewhat flexible "study programs". Instead of sending out Peace Corps "volunteers" that follow a pre-packaged plan of capital dispersal, the students are "brought in". Like when I tried to go back to get my Computer Science Masters/Ph.D., I found that "foreign" students had an easier time getting grants than I had with loans, such that I couldn't afford the $5000-per-term "education" whilst they got a free ride.

It's part of "Project Dumb-down the USA". If you drain it off all funds alloted for maintaining the infrastructure (more than 60% of all bridges are near-unsafe), overload the population which cannot support itself (immigration), suck funds from the future into an eternal war plan, close plants to favor cheaper offshore ones that churn out [toxic and  so-close-to-falling-apart-that-one-should-call-them-waste] products, then the scattered and scurrying people will not be able to defend (let alone supersede) their current secular and sovereign  nation-state  from a global restructuring into post-national regions (e.g., the EU, NAU, AU, and EAU). The next phase of atomistic colonization by capital will be much easier.

We, in the US are watching the end of the US — not "as empire" as many "out there" so foolishly cheer — but as it is re-subsumed into that post-national/trans-national empire run by Rockefeller (and associates) and those once ruling what was called the "British Empire", which never died but only changed appearance. The end will hit us here by the end of 2010 as per planning, when the WTO's 'Codex Alimentarius', pro-GM laws, and the final doses in-and-from privatized "public" water and air addict, zombify, and/or disease-down the population. We are being "treated" to the SPECTACLE of "who will NON-spectacularly lead us into REAL descent: Hillary, McCain, Obama, or a 5-person NAU 'council'?" We are being treated to watching ourselves crawl on television while we are being treated to like it. A :choice"? Whooppee-do!  Do I want to run, skip, or walk off the cliff?  More "I Can't Believe This is GM Popcorn Substitute" please….

You can sneak 'the big [ed: "final"] change' past many by going extremely fast or so slow no-one notices but "conspiracy theorists" and lapdog hack detractors. That is what is happening…. The whirring noise that everyone hears are the reactors running the slicing-and-dicing, human-capital capital extractors.

Why are we so losing all the time?!

One reason is that the bourgeoisie are "practicing Hegelians", in the strictest sense of being idealists, Statists, dialecticians, and elitists. They've already organified the mechanical. Now it's dialectics time. I fear that they are going to win "the final battle" of class war by robotifying the remaining slaves after cleaning house.

Today, proletarian "use" of dialectics as a methodological weapon, lacks the 'social funding' that transcends atomistic the "student" pseudo-use we see so often on email lists and in papers posted to college student web sites. Study groups and seminar teams, like dress rehearsals for work groups at the high-tech factory,  tackle it for reasons of look-but-don't-touch and armor-constricted ego. Reality and the 'act' of connecting the two is all that's missing.

The social 'treasure', who could do something with it, maintain a self divided-and-conquered by the idiot-ology of "left vs. right" authoritarianism that has abstractly carried over and been frozen as "all there is" into the unified deadlock of separate anti-"left authoritarianism" or
anti-"right authoritarianism" forces. Thanks also to the purveyors of philo-cynicism and generalized dumbification (exemplified best by banal and non-transcendent toll of human hours spent text messaging, emailing, and cell phoning FOR or AGAINST one side OR the other). The fetish with alien (or better, self-alienating) technos ids like the slow-down-to-gaze phenom of a car wreck, only it's our own reflection we both see and miss.

It's ping-pong while humanity burns. A flat and circular busy-ness…. It's kind of like the noise made by a wind-up toy as it's over-wrought tenseness, its induced and enervating mania, dissipates.

The energy expended is what would have easily fired-up revolution, or at least something other than rehashed "partial" victory and recycled loss. So, unlike 1848 and 1968, I can only hope that another chance opens up in the armor, preparing so that we have more active vision than deactivating leaders, and that we last through the next planned "die-off" [or recall] of human capital.

Hoping this is somewhat clear at 6am…. (this time for sure)
back to bed,
chris

There's nothing more annoying than little brainwashed girls from The

readers out there what Fullbright funds are cos I certainly don't
have a clue what you are talking about or taking out loans for
education. That's another American thang and I'm happily not from your
nation.
All I know is that your lingo betrays your youth and penchant for
adventures in miltant politics .
I thought this situationist site was for people who wanted to
seriously engage in just that, however nostalgic that is in 2008, to
talk about stuff like pychogeography, Vanigem, deleuze, the Lettrists
who came before it all, etc etc.
people like Miss Zoe just reduce the whole ambit into parochial USA
centric cheap chat and silly assumptions about one's background. Yes
the world is violent, apocalyptic at present and I can't see why it's
a crime to acknowledge that at all.

Sorry you haven't had an orgasm in a while. Personal liberation through self

Dear Mr Chris
No divine excuses and no need to defend the middle classes! Who are
the petty bougeoisie anyway? Some mythical fin du siecle group from
old Europe? There are some 260 million middle class Chinese at present
and I doubt that they have the time or interest in criticising Mao or
any ideologue for that matter.
Dogma is a dog of a word,
today's mainstream culture thrives on the
belief that NO opinion is a good thing.
People who live to smell the roses like Miss Zoe are the most
apolitical of all and come the collapse of Western culture will be
slaves for the picking or simply culled like a rabbit

It's like saying that criticizing Trotsky, Lenin, or Stalin is only

done by

the petty-bourgeoisie
or of Mao Tse-tung by "paper tigers" or "lackeys"!

Too bad for those who do believe that crap, because in situationist theory
we call that a brain disease.

It smells of a closed system, of dogma, of ideology, where any critique is
exemplified as proof th critique is divine,
i.e. immunizing it against the critique of inverting reality where
"criticism is

 futile".

Give up! Jean has the place surrounded from within!

Monsieur baudrillard calls SIMULACRA, that is, simulations of reality

As for Mike Moore he's a celebrity,end of story there, he's a
protagonist in pepetrating this faux idea of the world as a milkable
gag. Miss Zoe white seems to think there is a team or race called
"leftists" out there, perhaps we could send them to some

In my understanding of a reality not reduced to ten-thousand book titles
with rearranged data, Alex Jones has far more credibility and verve than
Noam "Smile-free" Chomp-sky.
I'm currently creating a huge section of critiques of Michael

 Moore,
Noam

Chomsky, and Jean Baudrillard - the three most deified [by the capitalist
"left"] ideologists whose job it is to make sure that any of the

"truth is

out there" that may be exposed is lost in self-loathing, and boring
cynicizing drivel - respectively.
I've been aware of Noam since the 1974(?) Anarchist Conference at

Lewis &

Clark College in Portland, Oregon. His "followers" are swappable

with those

of LaRouche in their characterologicality, irritatingly all devoid of
humour, a sense of wonder, and undankified vision…. I know the answer to
the Bill Nelson song lyrical question "do you dream in colour"

with respect

to these two self-bloats. No. They recharge like Borg at best.
Keep posted and I'll have them all up on point-of-departure.org by the

end

of Thursday….
best,
chris

still a
