Dear Lucien
Kelderuitgeverij (www.kelderuitgeverij.nl) published a reprint of Jacques Giele, Arbeiderszelfbestuur in Spanje 1938-1939. A study of the collectivisation in the Catalan economy during the Spanish civil war. Although this study was originally published in 1975 and the autor had no access to material that has been since then been opened to the public he gives a good overview.
The book is in Dutch but perhaps a South African can read it

Can anyone point me to good scholarly pieces - ideally journal articles - examining the industrial and agricultural collectivisations of the Spanish Revolution, in English?
I can't seem to find much. Maybe I am not looking right?
