George Sadek Dies
For the second time in a week, typography has lost one of its stalwarts
with the passing of George Sadek.
I was fortunate enough to have known George and worked with him on a few
projects for the Lubalin Center at New York's Cooper Union, the founding of
which was one of his many accomplishments in the typographic world.
Steve Heller has written an obituary for this morning's NY Times describing
Sadek's life and work. It may be found on the Times's Web site at: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/11/arts/design/11sadek.html
