I think the tobacco folk know more than anyone about what does and
doesn't work. The only anti-smoking ads they seem to really object to
are ones that are aimed at young people with the message that the
tobacco industrial is dishonest. It seems unlikely that they are just
sensitive guys who don't want to be vilified; they seem to believe
that being depicted as rapacious slime will disallow teenage
allegiances/personal identification. (I think they count on habit and
physical addiction to keep 'em coming after teenage identity searches
